BusinessWeek: Chicago Innovation Awards

Thomas D. Kuczmarski writes in Business Week about the Chicago Innovation Awards, a program that he helped launch eight years ago. As I was reading the article, I noticed his mention of sponsors (um, how could you miss it with the heading BIG CORPORATE SPONSORS?). The paragraph didn't really give insight into how he secured the sponsors, how he worked with them, etc. Rather, it was a very clever way to give them visibility in Business Week.

Getting recognition for sponsors isn't always the easiest thing. How can you cook up clever ways to get your sponsor's name out there, just as Mr. Kuczmarski did in Business Week?
